We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex cybersecurity projects to join our team. This role offers the chance to manage high-priority initiatives in critical areas like Essential 8 uplifts, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Governance, and Network Security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of cybersecurity projects, including Essential 8 uplifts, IDAM, MFA, SSO, Identity Governance, and Network Security.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning through to execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely and successful project outcomes.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and report regularly to senior leadership, ensuring projects stay within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Define and manage project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Facilitate and lead project meetings, working closely with technical teams to address challenges and identify solutions.
- Ensure all cybersecurity projects comply with best practices and relevant industry standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and help foster a collaborative project environment.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on delivering cybersecurity projects (e.g., Essential 8, IDAM, MFA, SSO, Identity Governance, Network Security).
- A background in Telecommunications would be an asset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Hands-on experience working with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors in a cybersecurity environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- A background in risk management and project reporting.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are preferred.
