LV2 Service Desk Analyst

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to join our client's dynamic IT support team in Auckland for an initial 3-month period. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to help deliver high-quality support services to end-users. You will be responsible for handling Level 1 and Level 2 support tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution of tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including software, hardware, and network problems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
  • Log and manage support tickets in the IT service management system.
  • Assist users with password resets, system configurations, and basic IT queries.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate higher-level support teams when necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Service Desk, IT Support, or Helpdesk role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshdesk, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • ITIL Foundation certification or similar IT support qualifications.
