Contract Duration: Initial 6 months with possible extensions

Work Arrangement: In-office 3 days per week

About the Role:

FinXL IT Professional Services is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead and manage delivery teams for data-driven projects and initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Delivery, this role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects in a dynamic, enterprise-level environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Management:

  • Oversee multiple squads (designers, developers, testers, vendors, etc.) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

  • Manage cross-functional teams across regional and offshore locations.

  • Deliver projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

  • Drive outcomes using customer user stories and iterative product development.

  • Resolve project issues and impediments while maintaining constructive relationships.

Project Management:

  • Lead Data Office programs/projects valued at over $3M, with potential to manage multiple initiatives in parallel.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring delivery schedules, quality standards, and business outcomes are met.

  • Conduct resource planning, forecasting, and reporting to ensure alignment with financial and operational goals.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, maintaining forecasting variances within 10%.

  • Deliver financial submissions and updates to senior stakeholders.

  • Report and track project KPIs to meet financial and customer-centric goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders (CEO, CIO, VP, Director level) to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business and IT units.

  • Influence project outcomes through effective communication and negotiation.

Contract Management:

  • Manage contracts with internal employees, contractors, and third-party vendors (fixed price and T&M).

  • Ensure delivery quality through robust contract negotiation and management.

Technical Agility:

  • Support the lifecycle of applications within the Data Office, ensuring capacity and technical capabilities meet business needs.

  • Leverage knowledge of data platforms, cloud technologies, and integration tools to drive project success.

Skills and Experience:

  • Mandatory Certifications: PMI/Prince-2 Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Agile Scrum Master (CSM/PSM).

  • Technical Expertise: Experience with data platforms, cloud technologies, and digital applications.

  • Proven Track Record: 7+ years of program/project management for medium to large-scale application development projects ($1M-$20M budgets, 10+ team members).

  • Financial Acumen: 7+ years of experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.

  • Agile Delivery: Demonstrated experience in Agile software development and delivery.

  • Leadership: Exceptional people management skills with experience leading culturally diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior leadership.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or Computer Science.
