Cisco Network Engineer
Sydney CBD and Work from home - Hybrid
12 Months + Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the operations and provide troubleshooting and analyse technical problems on all types of networked services, equipment, and devices in the environment.
Co-ordinate Major Incident Management activities, identifying network performance issues and trends. (e.g., Identifies failing network components, tracing of network traffic).
Coordinate resolution activities with IT groups across systems and platforms (e.g. Firewall Team), so they occur in sync
Monitor alarms, opens corresponding tickets, diagnoses, resolves, documents the issue, takes escalations from junior engineers and escalates as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience in Cisco Routing and Switching - BGP,OSPF,STP,NXOS,N9K
Experience in DNS, DHCP and IPAM - Infoblox Infrastructure
In-depth technical networking experience
Experience in supporting complex networks
Experience in supporting network operations
You are happy to work on-call.
Experience in VxLAN EVPN or related overlay technology.
Experience in Cloud networking Azure/AWS
Experience in Automation platforms - Python,PyATS,Jenkins,ROBOT Framework
Experience in Orchestration platforms - NDFC,DCNM
Vendor certification: CCNP or CCIE
Experience in Firewalls - Juniper high-end SRX, CheckPoint, Fortinet, NSX
Experience in ITIL processes, change management and ServiceNow in a large enterprise.
Strong technical knowledge of Load Balancing -F5 - LTM, GTM, APM, ASM), Crypto PKI and DNS
