We are seeking an experienced Data Consultant to join our team and work at one of our telco clients in North Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Develop a process to manage personal and sensitive data, execute a pilot to test and refine this process, and assess existing standards and processes for effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct interviews/workshops to gather requirements, identify pain points, and drive engagement with stakeholders
• Analyze current standards for managing sensitive and personal data, implement lifecycle management activities like archiving and deletion, and document the outcome

Skills and experience

• Expertise in data governance, data management of sensitive and personal data
• Experience in conducting interviews and workshops for requirement gathering and gap analysis
• Experience in creating detailed processes
• Understanding of data policies and regulatory obligations
• Technical knowledge about data stores, data storage, data processing and data consumption
• Familiarity with data systems and JIRA/Confluence tools
• Expertise in project management and stakeholder management

What's on offer

• 12 months' engagement working at a telco client
• Hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in the office in North Sydney
