IVR Developer

Summary:

The role of the IVR developer within EB Delivery is to work within the team of Contact Centre specialists
developing natural language interactions. The technologies required include traditional contact centre scripting
as well as NLU based technologies including voice bio-metrics.

The IVR developer role is required to help define and build to standardised deployment patterns, to create
sophisticated, user-centric interactions, working within the wider development team implementing end to end
call flows, API integration and reporting.

Duties:

The IVR developer will be required to:

• Work with engineering and Business Analysts to interpret requirements.
• Produce / contribute to the generation of design documentation for build and ongoing maintenance of deployed solution.
• Produce / contribute to test case development and execution for IVR applications.
• Implement IVR interactions based requirements from design material.
• Interface with project resource to articulate timings and schedule maintenance.
• Be proficient in IVR and CX methodologies.
• Design, develop, and deploy robust IVR systems with intuitive, human-centered VUI capabilities.
• Architect conversational flows that incorporate advanced ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), TTS (Text-to-Speech), and NLU (Natural Language Understanding) technologies.
• Build scalable and flexible voice menus that deliver natural and efficient user interactions.
• Be familiar with API integration and reporting principles for IVR applications.
• Work with the team to ensure test scripts and synthetic testing is developed in line with deployed IVR interactions.
