Linux Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a Linux Engineer to Support RedHat Linux Systems applications and infrastructure. Collaborates with internal IT stakeholders within network, security, storage and applications teams and BAU support. Provision, configure, manage, monitor and improve the Red Hat Enterprise Linux solution across physical and virtual server platforms.


Skills required:

• RedHat v7+ or equivalent Linux experience
• Kubernetes (OpenShift strongly preferred)
• Fluency using GIT
• QUAY
• Good understanding of IP Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and firewall
• Troubleshooting
• Basic shell scripting
• Experience with software defined networking
• F5 experience would be valuable, but not essential.
• Load balancing
• MetalLB
• Experience with DELL MX7000 but not essential
• Baremetal install inc boot from SAN
