Project Director

Summary:

Our Government client is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to be responsible for leading a team to deliver an IT uplift program, managing contractor performance, focusing on stakeholder requirements and ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal Project Director will have experience in managing large government projects with a strong background in ICT and design.

Duties:

• Develop, implement and evaluate project plans and schedules in accordance with the project management framework and consider project inter-dependencies.
• Collaborate with staff in the immediate work area and with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee project design, governance arrangements and operational integration including relocation/construction of the Lab, the space consists of an IT build room, IT secure build room, IT secure storeroom and infrastructure lab rack room.

Technology Knowledge/Exposure:

To be successful in this role one would require to be knowledgeable regarding the following technology's and practices; ICON racks, Cyber LAN, Passive Infrastructure, Security Systems, Wide Area Network (WAN), Backbone network, Access Layer Active infrastructure & Telstra Network Termination Units (NTU).
