Cyber Business Analyst

FinXL IT Professional services a large consulting company is current looking for a Cyber BA to work onsite for their client based on North Sydney.

- 12 Months contract

- Hybrid working ( 3 days in office)

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities for cyber security and IT transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Conduct detailed requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments, facilitating workshops and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Provide insight and support on cyber risk, regulatory compliance, and control frameworks, ensuring the security architecture meets organizational goals.

About you:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst, specializing in Cyber Security projects, with a good understanding of IAM, PAM, MFA, and security protocols like SAML, OAuth, and RBAC.
• Deep knowledge of cyber risk management, regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST), and control frameworks, with the ability to assess security posture and recommend strategic improvements.
• Proven ability to translate complex cyber security requirements into actionable business and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with security policies and business objectives.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear, consistent communication and alignment across business units, IT, and security teams
