Security Solution Architect

FinXL IT professional services is currently looking for a Security architect to design and implement security solutions for cloud based and application services.

• 12 Months contract
• Sydney Based
• Hybrid role (2 days in office)

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security solutions for cloud-based and application services (Azure).
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, application security, identity and access management (IAM), and the latest security best practices.
• Develop and maintain a secure cloud architecture framework that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, promoting a culture of security awareness.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security, application security, identity and access management, and related technologies to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and trends to ensure our security posture remains robust and proactive.
• Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in cloud security architecture, preferably with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in application security and identity and access management, including experience with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
• Proficiency in security frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to a variety of audiences.
