We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager - Risk & Regulatory to support a key financial services client in delivering critical APRA regulatory initiatives.

The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of multiple APRA-related projects, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements while aligning with business objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, risk teams, and technology partners to implement regulatory change effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end management of regulatory projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

Collaborate with key business, risk, and compliance stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Ensure projects align with APRA regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and status reports.

Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues proactively.

Drive stakeholder engagement, providing clear communication and reporting on project progress.

Work with cross-functional teams, including risk, legal, compliance, and technology, to ensure seamless execution.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within financial services, with a strong understanding of risk and regulatory frameworks.

Experience delivering APRA-driven initiatives would be highly desirable

Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) will be highly regarded.

This will be an initial 3-6 month engagement, offering flexible working and a competitive daily rate.
