We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Specialist with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to security incidents, managing vulnerabilities, ensuring data protection, and promoting a strong culture of security awareness within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Incident Response: Collaborate with external SOC to handle major incident responses and act as an escalation point for security incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Monitor security alerts, conduct vulnerability assessments, and address any vulnerabilities promptly to mitigate potential threats.
- Security Awareness: Drive security awareness initiatives through training programs to educate employees about cybersecurity risks and best practices.
- Network Security: Design and implement secure network architectures, protocols, and policies to protect the organization's infrastructure.
- Technology Deployment: Manage and deploy security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), antivirus software, and encryption solutions.
- Data Protection: Develop, implement, and enforce strategies to protect sensitive data and prevent data loss.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to integrate security measures into the IT environment and maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and vulnerability management.
- Proven experience in detecting and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, particularly Microsoft Sentinel.
- Expertise in working with external SOCs to manage, mitigate, and escalate security threats.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security controls.
- Experience in vulnerability scanning and prioritization.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud security and identity management, including platforms like Azure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to remain calm and focused during security incidents.
- A proactive, creative approach to problem-solving, with a demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
