Business Analyst - Regulatory Transformation Project
Location: Sydney | Hybrid | Contract Opportunity

FinXL is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major regulatory transformation program within a leading enterprise business. This high-impact initiative focuses on strengthening internal processes, governance, and compliance frameworks.

As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in translating regulatory obligations into actionable change, working across customer service, sales, credit, and collections operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful improvements to business processes, risk controls, and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate workshops and gather business requirements from key stakeholders

• Map and analyse current-state (as-is) business processes

• Define and document improved future-state (to-be) processes aligned with regulatory expectations

• Perform gap analysis, root cause assessments, and validate proposed solutions

• Work collaboratively with legal, compliance, IT, and operations teams

• Assist in identifying risks and designing appropriate controls to mitigate them

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in business process reengineering in regulated or compliance-driven environments

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

• Strong documentation capabilities including business requirements, process maps, and use cases

• Understanding of customer lifecycle processes, including onboarding, credit assessment, and collections

• Previous experience in enterprise or highly regulated industries (e.g. financial services, utilities, public sector)
