About the Role
As a Senior Service Designer at FinXL, you'll lead impactful design projects, producing empathetic, human-centred outcomes. From scoping initiatives to crafting presentations, you'll immerse yourself in user research, synthesising insights to shape innovative solutions. You'll contribute to both discovery and ideation, ensuring seamless collaboration with digital product design teams for implementation.
Key Responsibilities

  • Create robust, empathetic outputs such as Customer Journeys, Service Blueprints, and Prototypes.
  • Lead research and discovery, shaping "how might we" statements, analysing trends, and conducting competitor analysis.
  • Facilitate purposeful, engaging workshops that drive outcomes.
  • Execute and present end-to-end testing, from planning to results delivery.
  • Engage stakeholders, articulating insights and design intent effectively.
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure seamless execution of design initiatives.

About You
We're seeking design leaders who embody creativity, empathy, and a collaborative spirit:

  • 5+ years' experience in customer research, human-centred design, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in research methods such as ethnography, behavioural analysis, and focus groups.
  • Strong consulting experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Proficiency with tools like Figjam, Miro, Dovetail, Maze, and other emerging digital platforms.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for innovation and delivering exceptional, user-focused outcomes.
