Copywriter - Brand & Advertising

Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Creative and Content/Head of Copy, the primary function of this role is to work in conjunction with the Digital and Brand & amp; Advertising teams to develop and deliver copy. This will include the creation of compelling written content for a range of communication touch points, including but not limited to: The website, DM pieces, eDMs, print, poster, outdoor and other above-the-line and below-the line media.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Digital copywriting: Working with the Senior Manager Content and Creative/Digital team (UX, UI, Digital Producers) you will write compelling copy, that is not only in line with our new brand and tone of voice, but reflects an understanding of the audience you're writing for, the digital journey and incorporates web best practice principles (This also includes an understanding of SEO/ Accessibility/ Key word research/Meta descriptions/Internal linking/generating alt text for images etc to improve accessibility/how to incorporate learnings from UX testing - test and learn feedback).
  • Copywriting: Working in tandem Senior Manager Content/Brand and Advertising team, write compelling copy, that reflects our new brand and tone of voice across a range of ATL and BTL projects and initiatives.
  • Digital Advertising Knowledge: Crafting compelling copy for Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms while adhering to platform-specific requirements like character limits and user behavior patterns.
  • Understand research, analysis & user testing: Work in tandem with the UX/UI team to develop compelling content/copy that incorporates feedback from User Testing/qualitative & quantitative methods.
  • AI-driven content tools: Staying current with and using generative AI to drive efficiencies.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Writing, marketing, advertising, digital design or similar field.
  • Deep experience in turning complex & technical business requirements into concise and compelling copy for an audience with a reading age of 11.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation, Strong communication, grasp of English language, proof-reading and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify, justify, plan & manage the delivery of copywriting work. Strong collaboration, organisational, documentation and annotation skills.
