Are you an experienced API Developer with expertise in IBM API Connect? FinXL is seeking a Senior API Developer to join our team and work with a federal government client on a large-scale integration project. This role focuses on API development, system integration, and secure deployment, ensuring seamless communication across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect (Mandatory).
• Lead the integration of APIs across various platforms, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable API solutions.
• Implement best practices for API security, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Support software configuration, release management, and deployment of API-driven solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on API development methodologies.

What We're Looking For

• Mandatory: Experience with IBM API Connect - strong hands-on expertise in API design and integration.
• Proven experience in API development, system integration, and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption, etc.).
• Experience with software configuration, release, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and government security frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead API-driven initiatives.
