FinXL is seeking an experienced Automation Test Developer to join one of our Federal Government clients in Canberra,Melbourne, and Brisbane. If you are an experienced Test Developer seeking a new challenge, we have an exciting opportunity waiting for you!

Responsibilities:

• Must be Australian and be able to obtain and maintain Baseline clearance
• Analysis, design, development and management of new capabilities within the automation framework.
• Solve highly complex problems and deliver high quality Automation solutions.
• Perform and manage high-level analysis of technical requirements to support Automation evaluation with proposed solutions.
• Perform and manage high-level analysis of technical requirements to support Automation evaluation with proposed solutions.
• Undertake technical design, development and management of highly complex custom solutions and/or standard conversion and migration solutions.
• Manage the deployment release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance of the Branch Automation changes.
• Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the Subject Matter Expert and provide assistance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with endorsed software development methodologies.
• provide support to Test and Development teams to ensure high quality custom solution realization.
• Report on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance in the area of responsibility.
• Prepare and review a range of Automation written material which may include technical and corporate documentation.
• Provide detailed, specialist Automation technical advice to Senior Management where appropriate.
• Support and manage Automation innovation and lead change.
• Encourage and support continuous improvement.

Primary Knowledge/Skills/Systems/Tools required for role include:

• GitLAB,
• Playwright,
• JavaScript,
• Typescript,
• Gattling
• Cucumber
