Designer and Build - Short-Term / Part-Time

FinXL IT Professional Services is a leading force in IT and digital consultancy, delivering tailored solutions to Australia's top businesses. We're seeking professionals with skills in Pure Storage, UCS (Cisco Unified Computing System), and VMware for a short-term, part-time role. The work will be completed in two stages: Design and Build.

• Design: You'll start by designing the solution and ordering the necessary equipment.
• Build: After the equipment arrives, you'll return to implement the solution in the data centers.

The estimated work time is around 200 hours.

Locations:

• Open to Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra
• Must have Active NV1 security clearance.

Rate: Flexible (Open to discussion).

Clearance Requirement:

• NV1 clearance or higher is needed, which is a security clearance for working in sensitive government-related environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Pure Storage:
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Pure Storage solutions (like FlashArray and FlashBlade).
• Knowledge in storage provisioning, management, and performance tuning within Pure Storage environments.
• Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-availability Pure Storage solutions.
2. UCS (Cisco Unified Computing System):
• Experience with integrating Pure Storage with UCS.
• Knowledge of UCS Manager and how it interacts with Pure Storage to ensure optimal system performance.
3. VMware:
• Experience designing VMware vSphere environments (including vCenter and ESXi).
• Knowledge of VMware storage integration (VMFS, NFS, iSCSI, VVols) and how to integrate these with Pure Storage for smooth virtual machine and storage operations.
