Storage Engineer | Government Client | Parramatta

FinXL is seeking an experienced Storage Engineer to join a government client on a 12-month contract based in Parramatta. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading IT professional services firm while contributing to large-scale storage infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in optimising enterprise-level IBM Spectrum Scale and NetApp storage solutions in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise IBM Spectrum Scale, IBM SVC, and IBM TSM storage environments.
• Configure and maintain IBM Tape TS4500 ATL and SAN Brocade Networking.
• Provide support and administration for NetApp storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure high availability of storage systems.
• Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to align storage solutions with business needs.
• Contribute to storage architecture, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Key Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• IBM Spectrum Scale
• IBM SVC (Storage Virtualisation Controller)
• SAN Brocade Networking
• IBM TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) & IBM Tape TS4500 ATL
• NetApp storage solutions

Desirable:

• Experience with Pure Storage
