Job Title: Retail Business Analyst
Location: Melbourne
Contract: 3 to 6-Month Contract

We are looking for a skilled Retail Business Analyst to join our team for exciting projects in the retail sector. This position requires a strong mix of technical expertise, retail experience, and business analysis skills.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and a proven ability to transition into a business analyst role. Experience within the retail sector is highly desirable, particularly if you are familiar with back-office applications and D365 POS. Additionally, we are seeking someone who can deep dive into store systems to gather detailed requirements and support project needs. This role will be key to understanding requirements and collecting data to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements by working closely with stakeholders
• Analyze and translate business needs into actionable technical specifications
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations
• Participate in system testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Support project teams to ensure deadlines and goals are met
• Deep dive into store systems and operations to understand requirements and data needs

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in business analysis and technical environments
• Retail industry experience (preferred)
• Experience with back-office applications and/or D365 POS
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, particularly in retail environments
