FinXL IT is seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our growing team at a large financial services organisation. As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete software delivery life cycle, ensuring smooth and efficient release processes. This includes planning, scheduling, and executing all release activities, overseeing testing strategies and documentation, and managing vendor relationships. You will work closely with key stakeholders and the Project Leadership team, prioritising work on a high-priority project while also contributing to other critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full software release life cycle, from planning and scheduling to execution and deployment.
• Oversee the development and execution of testing strategies to ensure quality and smooth release processes.
• Collaborate with Test Managers and other team members to ensure the release process aligns with project goals.
• Manage relationships with vendors to ensure smooth integration of third-party tools and services.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including major financial institutions.
• Monitor release performance and drive continuous improvement in release practices and processes.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Experience as a Release Manager with a strong background in financial services.
• Experience working closely with Test Managers, or previous experience as a Test Manager
• Strong vendor management experience with the ability to work effectively with third-party suppliers.
• Familiarity with stakeholders from major financial institutions.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and execution skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope.
