FinXL was established in 2003 and created to leverage highly talented people in solving complex technological challenges. Since then, we have completed thousands of assignments, providing high value services to a wide range of customers.

Previously a part of the successful Finite Group, a subsidiary of Randstad N.V., FinXL has grown from a small team to a large business, with offices in all the major cities across Australia and New Zealand. Our deployed workforce of 1,200+ consultants work on projects and BAU assignments across a diverse customer base.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Gold Coast office in a remediation project.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Project Manager, you will manage, coordinate, and deliver several renewals and capital works projects simultaneously, which includes financial management, technical reporting, and adherence to safety management systems. Your ability to handle multiple projects at once will be crucial in this role. You will also manage the selection and onboarding of delivery partners in conjunction with the Renewals Lead, commercial, and safety teams.
  • Report on project and program performance and progress, including developing solutions to issues that compromise meeting agreed performance targets.
  • Your role will also involve coordinating the contributions to the tender process across the projects. It is a crucial aspect of the role to ensure the correct inputs are gathered to respond to client requests. It includes procurement activities, monitoring the progress of estimate development, and submission. Prepare, maintain and report on progress against schedules for the delivery of projects.

  • Ensure that community, environment, operations, and maintenance issues are considered when selecting preferred options for projects during the planning and design process.
  • Develop through coaching to build the capability of Project Engineers in effective project management, subcontractor management, estimating processes, etc.
