Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of Spark, SQL, Python, and Airflow to implement efficient data processing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and availability for analytics and reporting.
• Continuously improve and optimise data workflows and processes to enhance system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure smooth operations.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Data Engineer in financial services
• Strong experience with Spark and working in a distributed data processing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, capable of creating complex queries and optimising databases.
• Expertise in Python for data engineering tasks, automation, and integration.
• Proven experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for working with large datasets.
• Prior experience in financial services or related industries is a plus.
