Project Manager - Mobilisations (6-8 Month Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 8-10+ years of expertise to lead complex projects across the defence sector for a 6-8 month contract role. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly skilled individual to manage large-scale mobilisations, e-commerce platforms, logistics, and applications development while working within a government environment and potentially within defence.

Key Responsibilities:

• E-Commerce & Retail: Oversee the management and mobilisation of online shops and retail platforms, ensuring smooth project delivery and stakeholder alignment.

• Applications Development: Lead the end-to-end development of both web and mobile applications, covering front-end and back-end processes. You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of all digital solutions.

• Logistics & Site Installations: Manage complex logistics, including warehouse operations, site installs, and uninstalls, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

• Cyber & Data Governance: Ensure that all projects comply with cyber security and data governance standards, maintaining high levels of data security and regulatory compliance.

• Government Projects: Work in accordance with government frameworks and policies, ensuring that project objectives are met while adhering to relevant standards and protocols.

• Vendor Management: Handle multiple vendors effectively, ensuring their alignment with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.

• Master Scheduling: Own the scheduling process and coordinate resources across the project lifecycle, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.

• Defence Experience: Previous experience in managing projects in the defence sector is highly desirable. Due to the nature of some projects, candidates with clearance or the ability to obtain clearance is preferred.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Native Mobile Apps Delivery: Familiarity with the differences between web, mobile, and native apps. While not essential for this role, a working knowledge of mobile app delivery is beneficial to ensure seamless project execution.

You possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, leading teams to deliver successful outcomes.

You have experience managing vendor relationships, a strong understanding of cyber and data governance, and ideally bring a background working with government and defence-related projects.
