Job description

FinXL IT Professional Services is a leading IT services organisation providing a broad range of services to assist large Australian enterprises and Government departments to deliver IT projects.

At present, we are looking for a Network Solution Architect to join our market leading Telecommunications client. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and managing the network solution architecture which is vendor/product specific for HFC, FTTx, Ethernet Aggregation, IP networks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain solution architecture for HFC and/or FTTx networks.
  • Ensure access network availability and reliability aligns with customer needs.
  • Support in the creation of network strategy, including key decisions.
  • Develop Network Solution Architecture for network related business initiatives from Network Engineering, Manage Network, Operations and CPM Products
  • Effectively communicate solution architecture and associated implications.
  • Support the network delivery team during the technology build phase, including testing and post deployment.
  • Provide input to E2E solution architecture based on Network Engineering requirements.
  • Work with the Security Architecture team to provide consistent security solution architecture.
  • Skills & experience required:
  • 5 + years of experience working in network architecture ideally on large complex projects integrating IT and networks.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients and complex network environments.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, design, and architecture definition for network solutions.
  • Strong knowledge/experience of HFC/FTTx technologies.
  • Excellent in articulating solution architecture and presenting to audiences with differing technical capabilities.
  • Vendor liaison experience for selecting network components.
  • Telecommunications background with knowledge of network technologies including routers, switches, wireless solutions etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
